2026 ASA SSC Call for Sponsored Panels

As the submission portal will open on Monday, February 2, I invite you to submit sponsored panel proposals (title, panelists, abstract) to our ASA SSC email (asasportsstudiescaucus at gmail dot com) no later than Monday, February 9 at 11:59 pm PT.

The sponsored panel vote will go live on Tuesday, February 10 (via a Google Form), and will remain open for one week for all caucus members to vote for two standard sponsored panels and one professional development panel. We will announce the official sponsored panels on Wednesday, February 18. All ASA paper and panel submissions are due by March 1, 2026.

Are you looking for a panel to join? The Collaboration Hub on the ASA website can be a useful source for putting together a panel - https://theasa.net/annual-meeting/years-conference/collaboration-hub. You can also create sport-specific panels by dropping in your information in the Google Sheets link provided via email to caucus membership.
